streaming limit

I am assuming when you can stream 3 devices that means concurrently. Rather I could use my phone and two TV's.  Or IPad, phone and TV, correct.  I get limited out as soon as a use a new device.

You can stream 3 devices concurrently on devices that are NOT on the home network. While in the home network, the limit is 20 devices concurrently.

The 3 stream limitation is based on 'out-of-home' streaming. Of the 3 streams only 2 can be used by streaming devices (Roku, Fire Sticks, ATV4, etc). The 3rd stream can only be a mobile device (phone, tablet, PC, etc).
