No idea. Get a true streaming device. The app for Samsung has always been inferior since its conception. 100's of posts here on the multiple issues with the app.

I used to use my Samsung tv app and it (Edited per community guidelines). Get a dtv stream box.

I finally gave up on the DTV app on my Samsung TV and got a Amazon Fire Stick. Works great now and no more freezing and going to a black screen. Do not have to constantly login anymore.
