Lost the 4 three month app icons on directstream tv

I have 4 free add ons to the DIRECTV Stream I switched to last Saturday (June 11, 2022). After a full system reboot Sunday the icons for these 4 streaming sites are gone. Going to the guide and selecting any of the apps dies not take me to the app. Rather it shows by title and time playing for a particular day. Not what the app icon can show.

They were under the "APPS" when I clicked on the house icon on my remote. 

How do I get these icons back? I thought about reloading them but there's a price for that on the app itself. HELP - Technologically Challenged. LOL

You are using a Directv Streaming Box correct?  If you are did you factory reset your box or did you do a red button reset?

Yes, but I just reset eveything I always do by unplugging all for 30 seconds then plugging everything back in.

After wasting hours talking to several reps via phone or chat no one recommended this. So I haven't a clue how to do it. Be nice to have instructions come with this for those like me. LOL

You can try doing a red button reset by pressing the red button on the side of the box for 20 seconds try that and then see if you can access your apps again.  What apps are you trying to access?

If you want an App---you need to go to google play store in the apps section and download/install them. Those are not pre-loaded.

My 4 free ones were preloaded. If I go to the Google Play Store I have to pay for them. Hopelessly confused. 🤪

I did the suggested red button reset. TV screen went black, cane back with DIRECTV Stream asking what room I wanted. I clicked on the room and it froze. I couldn't move up, down or back with the remote. I'm hopeless at simple technology. We always had IT at the office and WALA problem fixed. 🤣

I just tried the remote again and this time it appears to be taking me where I need to go. Fingers crossed. Thank you.

Glad I was able to help you hope everything is working now for you now!  Sit back and enjoy your free stuff!  And remember if you have an issue most times doing a red button reset will take care of the issue and if that does not help then you can always come back to the forum for help!
