It's IMPOSSIBLE to cancel DirecTV Stream online (and by phone!)
I've followed the step by step directions to cancel my DirecTV Stream service, from multiple web browsers and from multiple computers, and it keeps conveniently getting stuck with the loading animation saying "Hang tight...". It sits there for like an hour and then times out. EVERY TIME.
So then I finally called and was shut down because I could not remember (and pretty sure I never created) a pin! Even though I offered to provide my account #, billing address, payment information, etc as proof. The customer service rep then abruptly hung up on me! Wow.
If I didn't want to cancel before, I sure do now. Please fix the online cancellation process ASAP!

Don’t ask us to fix it, we are customers just like you on a public forum. Just to confirm, do you have DIRECTV satellite or DIRECTV STREAM? If canceling is so hard and many agents are refusing to help, you can try a BBB complaint.

It used to be that you could cancel on-line via your account. In the past, I was able to do that. Now when you select the cancel, they ask you to either go through support or call.

@DIRECTVhelp Please contact me as well, I am having similar issues.
The cancel button on https://www.directv.com/accounts/stream/cancel is suspiciously broken and the chat button on the support page is broken. Please help me cancel my subscription. Thank you.
