How do you cance a subscription when the site won't allow it?

I do not want to get charged again. Your web site works as well as your streaming service for me, which is to say both do not.

I hit cancel subscription and it prompts me to "chat" then it says, "oh, it's OK you don't want to chat, go ahead and cancel anyway." To which I get an error message saying it can't be done at this time. Apparently, "this time" is synonymous with ever.

Happy customers need not reply. I don't care how happy you are with Direct or how I might fix it. I switched to another provider and have had zero issues like with Direct.

Direct employees need not reply except to say my account is cancelled and I will not be billed again. I am not staying.

This is a customer populated forum not directv support. They won’t cancel your service based on your post here. You must follow the proper procedures to cancel.

You cannot follow "proper procedures" boss. Your site is broken. How about you tell me how to follow these procedures when your site will not allow it? Any ideas?

The website is not working, chat will not come up. That is the problem. I have the same issue.
