How do I reach a live person, paying off devices

I clicked the button to payoff devices ( to lower my monthly bill) and my credit card was charged twice( I have 2 devices and they said I paid off 4). My new payment is reflected correctly, but my bank told me to contact Direct TV because I was double charged. How do I reach a live person?  The chats do not help with my problem.  Thanks.

Why won't you give the guy who was double charged for 2 boxes a phone number to call?

Hi @clroseRN, thank you for bringing this to out attention, this is not the experience we want our customer to have.

Let's meet in a Direct Message to take a closer look at the billing inquiry for the devices. Please check your DIRECTV message inbox (the chat icon next to the bell in the upper right corner of the Forums).

Thank you.

So, what is your excuse for not publishing a number for customers to call and get help from a DirectTV employee?  Forums are foe cheap companies that offer no one on one service to their customers.

I was supposed to be billed $69.99 a month for 24 months but you bandits are stealing $89.99 from my direct pay account.  I am being ripped off also.

We aren’t ripping you off, we are customers just like you.

I agree, the whole contact situation can get confusing. The REAL number to call is in my greeting below. I suggest you tell the robot ‘billing’ to be sent to the right department. (Billing Department)

.... And the phone number is listed on the support page. This is not support but a user forum of subscribers and users.
