How do I delete series recordings on Directv stream?
I can set series to record but cannot find how to cancel them? In the upcoming recordings, there isn't an option to stop recording a particular series.

I don’t know why anyone (DirecTV reps or subscribers) thinks you can’t cancel a series recording. Of course you can - you’ve been able to since the DVR had series recording. I just did one to confirm that they didn’t break something.
Yes, the reps who show up here tend to be clueless - they apparently mostly deal with satellite and don’t seem to understand streaming is different. And the online “help” pages mostly range from barely adequate to terrible. But multiple actual users have posted info in multiple threads about how to do this.
To reiterate - canceling a series recording can only be done from the “series page”, not from the DVR page (or from “upcoming recordings” - that only allows canceling individual episodes). To get to the series page, you can use the search bar to find the series, or if you have existing recording of the series, select the series in the DVR list, then select the series header rather than an individual episode. On the series page (which has a one-liner describing the show, and a few bits of other info) it should offer a “record series” button if there isn’t a series recording set or a “cancel recording” button if there is. The latter will cancel the series recording. This same approach allows canceling team recordings. Note that canceling a series doesn’t delete any already recorded episodes - that must be done (one at a time or all) from the DVR page.

If you go into your list and select the show that you want to cancel, then at the top right-hand corner there should be a little box that says cancel series just select that, and you are all set

I don't even have a list. Are you on the tv or computer? I'm in My Library on the computer.

The list is my library. Easiest way is to search the show you want to delete from recording-----then go to the show---"cancel recording" and it will delete series recording.

I set a series to record before the new season starts. Now it is recording tons of old episodes and I want to cancel the series. Canceling one of the recorded episodes does not cancel the series. How can I cancel the series? Help! This is driving me crazy. :-)

As I posted in the other thread on this topic:
And please avoid posting the same question in multiple threads.

I have done this multiple times, it doesn’t work to cancel the series, only the single recording.
I don’t believe that I posted the same question in multiple threads.

I am using a Roku not a Directv remote. How do I delete series recording on Directv streaming? I can only delete one show at a time. Nothing pops up saying series recordings.

You cannot cancel a series on Directv STREAM. The tech guys finally gave me this answer on another thread. The answer above is for the Directv device, not the streaming service you and I have.

Once again, there is no "series page” available in any of the STREAM systems. Sounds like this is referring (again) to the Direct TV device itself. Not the streaming service. Please refer only to recordings in the cloud where there is no “series page."
