HBO Max thinks my subscription through AT&T (DirecTV Stream) has expired. Anyone else?
This evening I opened up HBO Max to discover that it thinks my subscription has expired. I access HBO Max via DirecTV as my provider and it's worked fine since I became a Stream customer 8 months ago. HBO Max is included as part of my Premier subscription package.
Here's what happens when I try to log back into HBO Max when selecting DirecTV as my Provider ....
1. Open up HBO Max (tried this on both my Roku and PC)
2. HBO Max recognizes my account but says "Your HBO Max subscription through AT&T has expired" under the Account display.
3. Log out of HBO Max. See the "Get Ready for More" window with options to select "Choose a plan" or "Sign in to your account".
4. Select "Sign in with a provider"
5. Select DirecTV (also tried this by selecting AT&T, but no difference)
6. Sign in with my DirecTV Stream account user ID and password
7. Get the "Who Is Watching" screen and select my profile (that's the only profile in my account)
8. HBO Max loops back to the "Get Ready for More" display with options "Choose a Plan" or "Click here if you already subscribed."
I tried chatting with HBO Max support. But, of course, they're pointing me to DirecTV since our HBO Max access is via DirecTV.
Anyone else suddenly lose their HBO Max access?

This started tonight on my account tonight too.. Exact same issue...I can still watch HBO channels directly on the Direct TV app, but can't get the HBO app to accept my subscriber login.

Thanks for letting me know. There's a lengthy thread in the AT&T Support Forum from folks that had this issue several months ago with their Unlimited AT&T Accounts. Let's hope it's just a screwup on DirecTV's side. I'll be contacting DirecTV in the morning if it's still not working.
