How do I get the HBO channels in the channel guide on my DIRECTV stream package when I get HBO Max through my AT&T wireless account.

1. Download and open the HBO Max app.
2. Select Sign In (or try to play a show or movie). You should see a six-digit code on your screen.
3. Go to HBO Max from a web browser.
4. Enter the six-digit code when prompted, and then select Next.
5. Go to the app and choose SIGN IN THROUGH TV OR MOBILE PROVIDER.
6. Do you have Apple TV and get free HBO Max access because of your TV service with AT&T? Then tap Allow. If not, tap Don’t Allow.
7. Choose AT&T and enter the AT&T user ID and password.
8. Select Sign in. You should see HBO Max load on your DIRECTV STREAM screen.
9. If it’s your first time signing in, create your HBO Max profile. It may take up to one minute.
10. Choose your profile to start streaming.
