Free Unlimited DVR
I am a long time DTV satellite subscriber for around 20 years. We went to YTTV for 2 years and have now found our way back to DTV stream. We have only been a subscriber for about 1 1/2 months. We noticed that DTV stream is now giving unlimited DVR for free, I am still paying $10.00 a month. when can I expect to see the charge for my unlimited DVR to drop off my bill ?
I know I can cancel my service and then resubscribe and get it, but customers should not have to do that.
Thanks,
Glen

There has been some rumors on this forum that might not be the case. As a matter of fact a few have already got the fee removed from their bill, unless they are fibbing.

Thank you Sir. I will and I am. I may fail miserably buy I am going to try. But I think you are most likely right, stuff like this is one of the reasons I left before and can leave again.

I contacted Dtv stream help twitter support and griped a lot. They called me on the phone and gave me 10 dollars a month off my Choice package for a year. Not for a lifetime but something is better than nothing. That's what some people are getting---discounts.

Looks like bcbsncjlj is right. The only way to get this done will be to cancel service and then reup service with another email. They will offer to lower packages and the like, what they need to do is the right thing. But they have never been known for that now have they. I will get this figured out one way or the other.

I have seen in another post on this forum that the possibility of Directv Stream (DTVS) making Unlimited DVR available for all may be at least a chance. I know . I will believe it when I see it.
I think that DTVS has to realize what they could do to their market share of the streaming business if they were to do this. YTTV would have a cow. I know it's a little cheaper, but if you look at what DTVS offers it is easy to make the cost justifiable with Free unlimited DVR like YTTV. We as consumers have done all the + and - for this versus that, and DTVS would win if they do it.
