Fire stick streaming issue
Anyone have any issues with fire stick streaming? I have direct tv stream on two tvs in my house and have the same issue on both. Whenever I turn on my tv to watch and start up direct tv stream, every time I receive an error "looks like we ran into some trouble loading this content. please try again in a bit". I have to force stop and restart every time and it is beyond frustrating. Steps I’ve taken:
Clear data
Clear cache
uninstall/reinstall

I'm having the same issue. I thought it was the Fire Tv stick, but I factory reset it.
It keeps glitching during playoff games.

No issues at all with the Fire Stick device or app here. Never had any major issues.

Probably a poor Wi-Fi connection. You may try a speed test on the Fire Sticks to see the upload and download speeds. Additionally, please post your Fire Stick models as if they are too old, they will not be powerful enough to stream live TV via DIRECTV STREAM.
If the speeds are poor, you should see if you can wire the Fire Sticks via Ethernet (requires an adapter which can be purchased on Amazon) or bring the router closer to both Fire Sticks.

I have the same issue! Fire stick 4k I have to exit out of the DIRECTV app to reset it before it will work. None of my other apps ( Netflix, prime) do this. Frustrating

Same issue! Daily to weekly on two separate Toshiba Fire TV's. Internet connection is fast. Other apps don't have this issue. Updated both tv's to current. Uninstalled/reinstalled the DTV app. No change. Maddening! Only fix is to restart the tv or physically unplug & replug. And this is happening not to me personally, but to my visually impaired mother-in-law, who is helpless to see or understand any of this. We're almost ready to try another streaming service.

I have fire stick 4K’s in multiple rooms. I recently installed the DIRECTV stream app on my smart TV a Samsung. I can’t believe how much faster the smart TV version of DIRECTV Stream app is.

The Samsung app has greatly improved over the last couple of months--including a scrolling guide that you only get with the Dtv Stream box---not the other app devices. I signed up for Dtv Stream a year ago and the Samsung app was just awful so I bought a Dtv Stream box. Still happy with my decision I use the Samsung app as a backup.
