Honestly, in 2025, if you're still at speeds below 100Mbps, it's probably time to upgrade. If your ISP can't upgrade you to minimum 100-300Mbps for the same (or better) price than you're paying for anything below 100, it's probably a clue to look elsewhere.
If the signal is weak, there's steps you can take like moving your router or getting an extender. These would increase the signal strength in far-away rooms.
