Direct TV Now Fraud

How do I report and AT&T fraud to AT&T?  In September a class action lawsuit was started against AT&T because they are creating fake accounts and billing people for services they aren’t getting.  AT&T started billing me $55 a month in May for Direct TV Now.  I have been trying to stop this since it first appeared on my monthly credit card.  Recently AT&T increased the monthly charge to $70.  I have turned the FRAUD into my credit card company but then Direct TV Now changes their name and bills me again.  AT&T tells me I can’t cancel the billing unless, I can sign into the online account but since I didn’t create, I can’t sign in.  I have asked if they will reset the account and they have refused.  

 

I am on my third credit card card this month in an attempt to stop AT&T from fraidently billing me.  

 

Can you help help me stop the Fraud that AT&T is carrying out against me?

Cancelling the card should stop any further charges. So are you saying you cancel your credit card and the new one immediately gets used for Directv Now charges even though you have no access to the account? How would Directv Now get your new credit card number to charge you? I seriously doubt those charges are actually from Directv Now or AT&T Now and something else is going on. Whatever is going on, hope you get it solved.

Even though you are unable to log into your account, an AT&T specialist can still assist you in this matter. Please respond back, via the private note in your inbox for the forums. At that time an agent can send you a link for a secure online chat and can assist you with the process of canceling the account. Let us know if these instructions are helpful.

I started my service with this company and mentioned I don't want any premium channels, it was insisted to me to have this as a promotion, then in a call, you have in your file I canceled the service, Direct Tv takes advantage of paperless bill and autopay and start charging the premium channel services in January 2019, I called when I noted that in October I originally talked to customer service Mar employe number MR063C, he acknowledge was a mistake and transfer to supervisor that states will refund the money, this never happened and I called again and spoke with another employee (HP539U by ht name of meg, then she transferred me to Kaity manager-employee number KE769U and after a long conversation she states she has no reason to give me any refunds, she then goes over her making desitions and statements that she can't see any call from me or changes I requested in my account, she becomes aggressive and treatments me to add charges to my account if don't stop asking question about my overcharges. Direct TV is making charges to me without my consent and states is in the invoice, they can't invoice for something I canceled before. I proved to them that I called and canceled, what is the other way to cancel services if not via phone. We as consumers can't see what they add or not to our account. they can charge to me in fraudulent ways and get away with this. They can have managers telling consumers they are making " a veredict into accounts dispute" and they will not listen to a dispute.

In November of 2020 we were signed up for a service without our consent.  I have been trying since January of 2022 to get refunds for the 15 months we were fraudulently charged for.  We have only received 6 of the 15 refunds.  I have spent over 12 hours on the phone and is has yet to be resolved.  This has caused late fees and overdrafts.  WHY is it taking so long to return the money that was taken illegally?
