Direct Stream sign-in error

When attempting to sign in to Direct Stream on all my devices, I am receiving an error code stating the following:


iPhone login

”Looks like something’s wrong with that account.  It might be disconnected.”

code 0002

TV App login

Incorrect User ID and Password.  Please login with a valid DIRECTV STREAM User ID and Password.

Code 0017

DIRECT STREAM box

we don’t recognize that ID or password.  Please double check your information and try again.

I have called support and they state this is an “outage” on their side.  They have verified my sign in credentials and they show correct. 

This is now day 5 with no access to my programming.

(A) What specifically is the issue?

(B) What specifically is being done to correct the issue?

(C) When will this issue be resolved?

(D) If this is an issue that is affecting numerous customers (as stated by the support team), why isn’t there any information posted to the website regarding the issue and why are we not receiving daily communication on the status of the repair?

please respond to the above and provide information to your paying customers!

Unfortunately, you have posted on a public forum and we are also paying customers just like you.

A.) We don’t know. It could be that your account was locked due to failed passcode attempts or similar, the authorization for your account is messed up, etc.

B.) I’m sure nothing because no changes are noticed on your side. You’ll need to call DIRECTV STREAM (number in my greeting below) and ask for the sign-in help department. An agent from there has more knowledge of sign-in issues than any regular agent.

C.) As we are paying customers, we have no clue. This issue is specific to only YOU as there is no trouble signing in right now. As long as you call and reach the right department, it should be properly escalated and fixed. 

D.) That team lied to you. If it was a nationwide issue, none of us would be able to watch DIRECTV STREAM as it verifies the account status every time you open the application. If the login was invalid, the app would not work properly.

I just spoke with ATT support 2 mins ago.  They are saying it's a known outage.  Im on the same page on why they won't acknowledge it and are making customers just suffer in silence.    I would contact them to request credits for the days that you can't use, keep track.
