Can’t log into stream app says wrong password when it’s the right one

I’m having trouble logging into the DirectTV stream Samsung app. I’m able to log in to the website and other TVs just fine, but when I try to log in to the app, it says my password is incorrect.

The Samsung app is very erratic. It is highly recommended that you use an external streaming device for the service. Are you a previous AT&T or DirecTV subscriber using the same login credentials? I so, they require different credentials.
