Can't log into Directv stream account on TV

When I try to log in to Directv stream app on TV, I get message that says my subscription needs to be renewed and to go to my account and update it.  When I try to log into my Directv stream app on my phone (using same credentials), I get log in error.  I use these same credentials to log into ATT app on my phone and I am able to access an account overview.  My Directv account is current! I have spent 2 days on the phone with ATT support with no answers.  Any suggestions?

You should probably reach out to the DIRECTV STREAM sign-in help department. They can reauthorize your account and fix everything up. Their number is in my greeting below. Be sure to say that you are calling about 'DIRECTV STREAM' and not 'DIRECTV' because that will bring you to the satellite department.

If still no help, you should ask for the retention department and see where that takes you. If after several days there is no fix, time for a BBB complaint.

Try uninstalling the app and reinstalling it and see if that helps.  If that does not help and you are getting the same error on your phone and TV app then it is an issue with Directv and you would have to have them straighten it out! I would suggest calling or chatting with Directv customer service as they claim that AT&T and Directv are 2 separate companies even though we all know that AT&T owns them!

Don't login to your AT&T account but your DirecTV Stream account. Go here and sign-in.

Spent 4 frustrating days dealing with tech support.  Finally convinced them I needed a new account.  They transferred me to loyalty dept who cancelled existing direct tv stream acct and set up new one.  Finally can watch TV.  I asked about getting credit, was told I may get partial credit, was put on hold and was disconnected after several minutes!  Hard to believe the loyalty dept doesn't call you back.  Unfortunately the only reason we use ATT is for regional sports.  Guess I'll be dealing next with billing dept.  Not looking forward to more aggravation.

Glad to hear that you got that straightened out and that you are now able to access your Directv Stream Account.  I am sure that was very frustrating!  But Directv Stream is usually pretty good about giving people discounts/promotions to people that have been having issues.
