Cannot connect to Max streaming through my Directv as provider
Max app will not let me connect with Directv, just keeps telling me to create an account or renew my subscription. Deleted and reinstalled app, nothing.

If you are a Directv Stream customer make sure you are selecting Directv Stream and not just Directv. As selecting Directv is for Sat. customers and Directv Stream is for anyone Streaming Directv.

Are you a DirecTV or DirecTV Stream subscriber? The 2 services are different.

See if you can log on through a normal computer. Make sure with either app or website, that you are choosing the correct provider as DirecTV and DIRECTV STREAM are not the same.
If this is an existing login that stopped working, you may need to contact MAX through their chat support. With AT&T leaving and separating all the backend associations and logins, this has caused a problem for many. I went through it as well, so through MAX chat they ended up resetting my access completely but got it fixed within a few minutes.
