Cannot Cancel DirecTV Stream Due to "Error"

I cannot cancel my subscription. When I try online I continuously get an error message that the request cannot be processed at this time.  My on-file payment method recently expired.  I tried to update the payment with a new card (never provided to DirecTV prior to now), but that failed as well.  Now I have three $20.00 charges pending on the card that failed and DirecTV has never had.  I don't know what this $20.00 charge is. I am in the military and currently overseas and do not use the service anymore and just want to cancel.

The online cancel has been a problem for quiet a long time. You will need to contact support and go thru a support rep to cancel. Select "Help" at the bottom of this page then your service to contact support.

Those 20 dollar charges are probably just authorizations they should fall off in like 10 days.
