Billing
We recently discovered we were being billed for a secondary DTV Stream account. After multiple calls to we finally got the duplicate account(billed at higher rate) cancelled, but we are not getting our full refund due to Supervisors can only issue some much money in refunds. We were billed wrongly for 18months. All we want is what is owed back to us. How can we get this resolved, AT&T w/DTV Stream needs to make this right 100% not giving partial credits/refunds. If tables were turned and we didn't pay AT&T w/DTV Stream we would be sued for any outstanding balances and have it reported on our credit file.
We have repeatedly asked to have this escalated to corporate or legal department since this action could easily be considered fraud. AT&T w/DTV Stream has been taking/stealing money from us for 18months.

18 months? How is that possible and you are not aware of charges? Amazing!
Nothing can be resolved from here. This is just an open community forum and no one has access to subscriber accounts. You might seek action via the BBB (Better Business Bureau) if you can not resolve anything via support.

You were paying for something for a year and a half and didn't realize it. Wow. Talk about oblivious.

We had everything set up AutoPay with EStatements. We thought that yeah our bill was a bit high for both TV & Wireless. But there was a 2nd debit a few days later for a different amount and at first we though it was for the equipment. But when I decided to set up a dedicated bank account that we paid all of our bills for our home from that is how I discovered the error.
Thank you. We may have to try that route. I wasn't sure if anyone could provide us with contact info for corporate or legal department for AT&T DTV Stream. Customer Service is actually the ones that told us to go to these forums. So again I am very confused and upset we can't seem to get a straight answer.

They told you to come to these forums because they don't know what to do either. Those support reps are only1st level support anyways. You might even try a local AT&T or DirecTV store for advise.

Can't say I disagree with you Ludwick577. This was under my husbands name and his account. I just took over all this in end of February and yes he never really paid attention to those bills. He just wanted to make sure his bills were paid and never really questioned it. Where as I want to know where every penny goes, I work hard for my money and don't want to give it away.
bsbsncjlj - We may try the store again but in all honesty we, well I am leery there too. Only because this is how the whole mess started it went to the store to get the new equipment when things switched from using a Roku to DTV Stream equipment. So we will see what we can do.
This is just all a bit frustrating.

Not surprised about the stores. They have gotten a large amount of customers thru miss-information. I hope that the account is at least closed now, right? One of these days and I mean one of these days I hope some one sues them for liable of all these false and shaddy deals. They deserve it!
