Apple TV constant logon
Over the past few weeks I have had to re-logon to the DIRECTV Stream app virtually every time I click on it across my multiple Apple TV’s. Does anyone else have this problem? I’ve tried resetting my “master” TV provider in the Settings app on the Apple TV but that hasn’t worked. It’s very frustrating since I haven’t had to logon in months and now it requires a username and password each time I want to watch DIRECTV.

There was issues for subscribers using Apple's Sinlge Sign-On. Not sure if that still exists or not. Try deleting the provider, logout of th app, reboot. Add provider back and try again.

I have had the same experience. Extremely frustrating. I have tried restarting, rebooting, virtually anything, but it is still a problem.

This is not the experience we want you to have, @Thuestad. Let's work together on a fix.
1. From the Apple TV home menu, select Settings, then Apps and Manage Installed Apps.
2. Choose DIRECTV STREAM.
3. Select Clear Cache and Clear Data.
Once you finish this process, we can reset the password.
Let us know how it goes.
