Additional charge for Disney channrls

In a Jan.24 I agreed to a 2 year contract that included the Disney channels, ESPN and such.
Yesterday I was notified that mr chedit card was debited an extra $12.03 for ESPN.

Why is not a breach of your contract that I agreed to?

Is that ESPN+ perhaps? It's an outside service that DirecTV has nothing to do with. You signed up for it all by yourself. If not, someone has access to your credit card.

No contract with DirecTV has been breached.

Hi, @bobblackmon6111939 We know how important managing you bills are. However, we don't charge an extra fee for ESPN (Ch 206) since is already included on your base package. Thanks, @baseballisback for sharing your insights. Kiarha, DIRECTV Community Specialist

@bobblackmon6111939

There is not a separate charge from your monthly bill. That means either you have something like ESPN+ (their streaming-only service from ESPN) or someone used your card. Either way, nothing to do with DirecTV.

Even if this was a charge on your DirecTV bill, it would not be a breach. The Terms of Service state that channels and their cost can change at any time. Though there was a recent announcement of the price adjustment, normally that would be for prior negotiations that completed and Disney (ESPN's owner) is expected to be factored into the next one.

Thank you I’ll look into the matter.
