$200 gift card

I switched from Hulu Live TV to DirecTV.  I was wondering when I will get my gift card? I never received email.

Hi richardrees, we're focused on giving you all that you need, that includes the gift card and the correct process to confirm that your account applies for it and how to request it:

Within six weeks of activating and maintaining your service, you will receive a notification via email or letter with instructions on how to redeem your reward. You can track the status of your reward at any time.

- Go to the https://directv-rewardcenter.com/home.aspx

- Select Access your rewards.

- Enter your Claim number or Account number.

- Select Access your rewards.

 You can also do many more things on the previous link as:

* Watch tutorials

* View redemption process tracking status bar

* Claim their reward

* Sign up for updates via text and/or email

* Activate their card

* Check balance

Let us know if you have any other inquiries. DIRECTV is with you every step of the way. Michael, DIRECTV Community Specialist

Hey back at the end of June I switched from Xfinity to Directtv Stream and I was told I would be getting a $200 reward card for doing so. Now over 6 weeks later and I have checked and nothing and no one a Directtv cares. any one else have this problem?

Check your status at Reward Center. Outside of that, you will need to contact DirecTV. No one here has access to accounts.

I got through to someone.  Promotion ended or something. Oh well.  It was only $100.  I got another $100 getting the internet and I will get more free money when I move my cell phone so I am fine.

If you are here, you have obviously been scammed as I have.  Back in February 2024 I switched from Xfinity to DTV (bad move) and after calling the Rewards number because I am still waiting on an email with a claim number, I was told there's nothing they can do.  Hmm... really?  Just look back at when I started and give me this promised $200 reward, but they will say there's nothing they can do. They also lied about reminder emails of ending free movie channels I told them I did not want so I ended up paying hundreds of dollars extra until I finally checked my invoices. Again, nothing they can do.  If you are thinking about switching to DTV, DON'T!!!!!  Now I will cancel and not pay for the remaining part of the two years as they screwed up as this is breach of contract.  What a bunch of (Edited per community guidelines)!

@Juice1818 If you have a contract then you are not a DirecTV Stream subscriber. Only DirecTV has contracts. DirecTV (either satellite or via internet) service has contracts. DirecTV Stream service has no contract. I believe you have posted in the wrong forum.

bcbsncjlj - you need to read my post again.  I clearly say I switched from Xfinity to DTV (DirecTV) and yes, I have a contract.  Also, I am pointing out that DirecTV isn't paying me the $200 Visa reward promo ($200 gift card) I was promised when I left Xfinity for their DirecTV service.  It is posted on a thread called $200 gift card.

DirecTV is not DirecTV Stream. They are 2 different subscription services. Not related. DirecTV Stream is a service like YouTube TV or Sling. The service DirecTV Stream does not have a contract. It’s a streaming month-to-month streaming service. Suggest you start a new post in the DirecTV forum.
