I cannot turn off my tv using my direct stream remote

We are currently a Xfinity TV account using voice remote and want switch to Direct TV streaming. How difficult is it w/o interrupting watching TV

I have directv stream and Hisense TV. Directv remote works perfectly except when I hit the down volume button. When I do that the picture mode screen for the TV comes up on the left hand side of the screen. Any idea how to fix this?

All of the sudden I cannot login to any iOS app with my Directv Stream info. I get the following error. My password is correct. I can login to the DIRECTV app or website with my info.
